Wine Thieves Mtsvane 2021 White Wine

Mtsvane Kakhuri is probably the most pungent Georgian grape variety, ideal for classic white wines. Mtsvane Kakhuri is grown widely throughout the entire region of Kakheti, in outer Kakheti and in all of Shida Kakheti. There are also several designations of origin, where wine is made from Mtsvane Kakhuri, although Akhmeturi Mtsvane differs from all of them. Our wine is also from Akhmeta, Ozhio village. It is a greenish-straw colored wine, with floral and white fruit aromas (fruit blossoms, white peach), one could feel some citrus notes as well. It is a high-acid, bouncy and cheerful wine, quite light, too.

Food pairing: boiled and fried fish, seafood, boiled hen, various salads (including with citrus fruits), Imeruli khachapuri are some of the best pairings for the classic wine from Mtsvane Kakhuri.
