Mastinell Cava Brut Real Gran Reserva 2015
More than half a century has passed since we planted our Macabeo, Xarel·lo de Olérdola, and Parellada de Sant Martí Sarroca plots. The original vase-trained (gobelet) vine cultivation system inspires us to seek the ripening perfection that guarantees success every year.
Each variety is vinified separately. In January, we rigorously taste them all and decipher the best combination and composition. After a long aging process, we are ready. We then split the Gran Reserva batch in two. To our Brut Real, we add liqueur d’expédition (dosage), bringing forth its personality.
Tasting notes:
Vivid gold with fine, delicate bubbles. Very floral with hints of apple, ripe pear, and anise. Balanced, elegant, and harmonious in the mouth. A long and refreshing finish with citrus fruit and fennel caresses.

Food Pairing:
Perfect company for salads, vegetables, hamburgers, roasted or grilled white meat, grilled fish, aperitifs and cocktails.

Sautéed baby vegetables alongside carrot and coconut emulsion, with Mastinell cava ‘cloud’.
